Concert

The Concert will take place on Friday 14th June in Loanhead Ex-Servicemen's Club (better known as LEX). Doors open at 7pm for a 7:30 start. When the concert finishes (generally around 10:30), the venue is available for sessions. The bar will, of course remain open....

For 2013, the acts are booked, and are as follows

  Ethan Thomas
By popular request, we've again booked the remarkable Ethan Thomas, the first time we've had a major performer two years running. :   
 
  The Sail Pattern
Also joining us is a remarkable band from Yorkshire. These lads play the liveliest traditional music you'll hear in a long time.
 
  Anna Shannon
Originally from Whitby, and now living near Scarborough, Anna's unique song-writing and instrumental skills make her an act not to be missed.

   Gallus Crows 
The Gallus Crows, formed out of the Loanhead Guitar Club, are a multi-instrumental and vocal trio with an exciting mix of self-penned, traditional and Americana songs.

And opening the concert are Crash and Burn. This is their first public performance, and the opening slot is always the hardest, so be gentle with them.
