Loanhead Music Festival/index

Number 7 was heaven, can't wait for number 8!

The 8th Loanhead Music Festival will take place over the weekend 13th to 15th June 2008.

The Festival is a well-established event in the local calendar, and attracts musicians from the local area, and from across Scotland and England.

Competitions

A central campsite is provided by Midlothian Council. Located just beside the A720 Edinburgh Bypass A701 (Straiton) junction, Loanhead is easy to get to.

For city folk, there is a frequent LRT 37 Edinburgh–Penicuik bus service serving Loanhead, and this route has a half-hourly night service too, so there’s no need to rush away early from a good session.

We are aiming to ensure we have another successful weekend. Thanks to all those who helped with, and attended, the 7th Festival in June 2007.
