GETTING TO LOANHEAD

Bus Routes
During the day, the LRT 37 which goes through Loanhead runs on a frequent schedule between Edinburgh and Penicuik.

There is also a night bus service, LRT no. N37,
operating half - hourly which goes through Loanhead.

The 141 (First Bus) is hourly through Loanhead,
between Penicuik and Musselburgh.

Trains
Destination Edinburgh Waverly, exit station up the Waverly Steps, cross the road and catch the No. 37 bus.

RESTAURANTS & TAKEAWAYS
Loanhead has two pubs serving food, namely the The Mayflower and The Roadhouse, and nearby, the Laird & Dog at Lasswade is well worth visiting.

We have two chippies, four Chinese takeaways and an Indian takeaway, so you shouldn't starve.

A Scotmid grocer is open till 10 each night for bits and pieces, and there's a large Sainsburys just up the road at Straiton Park.

There's even an IKEA if you fancy buying some furniture while you're here!
