Jaggy Jaikit
Jaggy Jaikit are not so much a band as a family, related through their passion for the finer things in life, such as the love of good whisky, friendship and of course great music. The Jaggy Jaikits have evolved from a group of friends who regularly meet up at music festivals sessions and gatherings. Over the years, the “family” has grown, and with wives, husbands, children and lovers there can often be more than 30 Jaggy Jaikit's enjoying a good music session. Not especially known for playing concerts or gigs, the Jaggy Jaikits are more likely to be found on festival campsites in the Jaggy Jaikit Travelling Saloon playing music into the wee small hours. The music is a mixture of folk, Americana, Bluegrass, traditional, singer-songwriter, rock and jazz. You name it and we’ll try it.
